Paying for Services

 

Much like other non-profit organizations, funding for OVRS can flow from several sources, including:

 

The Hamilton County Board MR/DD

Federal Medicaid through what are called Medicaid Waivers. The waiver pays for the support staff, and their training, and administration.

Room and board paid by mostly Individuals' personal earnings and their federal supplemental benefits.  SSI/SSA funding is used toward rent, mortgages, maintenance of the homes, and providing various products and necessities for the Individuals' health and support.
 

 

 

 

 

Private payment for support is also an option

Contributions and gifts from friends and supporters

 

These gifts and donations contribute towards maintenance of the homes, keeping various products and necessities on hand for the Individuals’ comfort, and ensuring that OVRS is staffed with nothing but the most exceptional employees.
